Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to Disease Area Leads and stakeholders.
- Drive development and adoption of transformative statistics innovations.
- Provide leadership for cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Consult on complex scientific and methodological challenges across therapeutic areas.
- Guide junior biostatisticians supporting project teams.
- Work with project teams on innovative trial design, simulation, execution, and adaptive trials software tools.
- Provide statistical training to non-statisticians.
- Present and/or publish new statistical methodology within and outside the company.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years industry experience in pharma/device/diagnostics or academia experience in clinical trial research.
- PhD in Biostatistics or related field.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of state-of-the-art statistical methods for drug development.
- Widely recognized statistical expert; experience driving transformative innovations.
- Track record supporting large/complex development portfolios and scientific publications.
- Ability to collaborate with academic institutions or government agencies.
- Ability to present complex statistical concepts; identify critical aspects of problems.
- Proficiency in R or SAS programming and software development.
- Ability to use competitive intelligence to influence clinical development strategies.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $261,375.00β$338,250.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
