Sr. Specialist, Procurement

Responsibilities:
- Lead category/subcategory sourcing strategies and stakeholder management for Animal Health site sourcing; support manufacturing operations and attend tier meetings.
- Engage stakeholders to define supply strategy, mitigate supply risks, translate requirements into business results, and run routine reviews.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance; conduct relationship management with key/active suppliers and improve performance using OTIF metrics.
- Create and execute RFIs/RFPs and analyze proposals using ARIBA; assess proposals against criteria and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Plan and execute negotiations, lead negotiation sessions, run post-negotiation debriefs, and drive value for the business.
- Lead contract/commitment preparation and implementation; partner with legal as needed and understand contract language.
- Drive cost savings, manage purchase price variance, and support working capital improvements (including payment terms and inventory reduction).
- Share learnings with site teams and global category COEs; ensure procurement adheres to policy.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorβs degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related).
- Experience: 3+ years procurement in Life Sciences/Pharma.
- Required skills: strong negotiation/commercial skills; prioritize/multitask; self-motivated/team-capable; flexible workload.
Preferred:
- Indirect materials; purchasing qualification (CPM/CIPS); manufacturing procurement experience.
