Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive category/subcategory sourcing strategies and stakeholder management for manufacturing operations.
- Engage stakeholders to establish supply strategy, mitigate supply risk, and translate requirements into business results.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance; conduct relationship management meetings with key/active suppliers.
- Create and execute RFIs/RFPs and analyze proposals using ARIBA; lead assessments using predefined criteria and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Plan and execute negotiations; lead negotiation sessions and post-negotiation debriefs to deliver value.
- Lead contract preparation/implementation; partner with corporate legal on contract language.
- Improve supplier performance using OTIF and other tools; drive supplier innovation.
- Share best practices with site teams and regional/global Category COEs.
- Ensure procurement is ethical and compliant with procurement policy and procedures.
- Drive cost savings (PPV management, approvals with stakeholders/finance) and improve working capital (payment terms, inventory reduction).
- Support leadership/category metrics management and develop local/regional category strategies and sourcing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ yearsβ procurement experience in Life Sciences/Pharma.
