Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Sr. Specialist β€” Animal Health Technology Solutions (Dallas, TX and Baton Rouge, LA). Open to regular travel between Dallas and Baton Rouge based on site needs.

Responsibilities:
- Primary EHS point of contact; partner with site leadership, line managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Liaison with Texas and Louisiana local/state agencies; ensure timely regulatory responses.
- Plan, develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal/state/local requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Own environmental compliance (permits/registrations/plans, renewals/updates, reporting deadlines).
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective/preventive actions and verify effectiveness.
- Track EHS metrics/trends; drive behavior-based safety improvements.
- Develop/deliver targeted EHS training; maintain training matrices and records.
- Communicate technical/regulatory information to senior leaders and shop-floor employees.
- Champion continuous improvement through best-practice deployment across both sites.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science, engineering, physical science, or related technical discipline (required).

Minimum requirements:
- 5+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, R&D, laboratory, or technical operations.
- Experience working with U.S. EHS regulatory agencies and corporate support functions.
- Competency in one or more: RCRA hazardous waste; Clean Air Act (Title V/NSR); OSHA PSM; high-risk work controls (elevated work, confined space, hot work, lockout/tagout, etc.).
- Experience developing/delivering EHS training and conducting incident investigations with root cause analysis.
- Strong written/oral communication; tailor to diverse audiences.

Preferred:
- Knowledge of TCEQ and LDEQ frameworks, permitting, and reporting.
- Proficiency with EHS management systems and corrective action tracking.
- Safety program experience: contractor management/permits-to-work/safe work planning; emergency preparedness/response drills; MOC/PSSER/mechanical integrity; ergonomics/industrial hygiene.
- CSP and/or PE and/or CIH certification.

Required skills (examples): EHS compliance; EHS/environmental regulations; HazCom; hazardous material safety/response; HSE management and audits; safety regulatory compliance.
