Sr. Specialist - Downstream Operations Technician (Night Shift)

Role Summary

The Downstream Operations Technician (Night Shift) serves as the technical process leader on the Downstream operations team, responsible for manufacturing execution, changeover, and production control. The role focuses on execution and oversight of Clarification, Chromatography, and Tangential Flow Filtration operations.

Responsibilities

• Executes the operation with the team, serving as process leader, coach, trainer, and responsible party
• Performs and verifies maintenance, process setup, troubleshooting, changeover, and process intervention
• Acts as the Operations representative for cross-functional process support teams, engaging in process activities
• Real-time problem solving, process intervention, and technical experiment delivery
• Ensures process documentation is prepared and completed with accuracy and concurrence

Qualifications

• Required: Education – High School Diploma / GED
• Required: Experience – a minimum of 3 years of experience in Liquid Protein A Chromatography at manufacturing scale
• Preferred: Production scale filtration
• Preferred: Formal Root Cause Investigation training
• Preferred: Proficiency with SAP
• Preferred: GMP manufacturing
• Preferred: Tangential Flow Filtration
