Sr Sourcing Specialist, Global Procurement
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end management of assigned categories, including category strategy development, sourcing plan execution, and value-optimization projects
- Support planning and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives
- Develop sourcing specifications, requirements, and scope of work; gather data and support spend analytics
- Help deliver measurable cost savings and monitor savings against contracts
- Drive continuous vendor improvement and manage relationships with key category vendors and business stakeholders
- Develop and sustain vendor/customer relationships; ensure accountability and track category performance
- Align with stakeholders/business leaders, provide project management support for multiple projects (on time and within budget)
- Ensure continuous supplier quality and service to support efficient business operations
- Achieve category spend savings targets and objectives
- Lead category supplier relationships and sourcing opportunities (e.g., RFPs, negotiations)
- Manage contracts to drive continuous value; ensure valid contract agreements, addendums, and coverage are in place
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
