Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and optimize NGS library preparation workflows (e.g., 3β RNA-seq, mRNA-seq) across targeted and large-scale screening campaigns, maintaining high quality and throughput
- Track, document, and QC samples through all stages of assay development
- Develop, troubleshoot, and refine genomics assay protocols to meet evolving program needs (new library chemistries, multiplexing strategies, sample input optimization)
- Maintain sample tracking, chain-of-custody documentation, and electronic lab notebook records in compliance with Lilly quality standards
- Collaborate with computational genomics, medicinal chemistry, and biology teams to generate robust, interpretable, decisional data
- Participate in cross-functional teams to contribute to assay design, data interpretation, and experimental prioritization
- Support lab infrastructure (reagent inventory, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement of SOPs)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or related field with 3+ years relevant lab experience; OR Masterβs degree with 1+ years relevant lab experience
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas
