Key Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and produce multispecific biologics for Oncology; apply multispecific design/engineering for ADC and immuno-oncology.
- Manage a group of scientists focused on multispecific design, production, characterization, and multispecific inventory.
- Serve as biologics lead for multispecific projects, coordinating activities and transitions from hit generation through candidate nomination.
- Represent multispecific engineering on cross-functional teams; be recognized as an expert in multispecific design and production.
- Independently identify/solve technical problems and implement innovative research processes.
- Present original work internally and at scientific conferences; may author/co-author peer-reviewed papers or patents.
Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- + (PhD) or 12+ (MS) years of experience in multispecific engineering or antibody engineering.
- Experience with design, expression, and purification of proteins/biologics/fragments/multispecifics (e.g., bispecifics, trispecifics, bispecific fusions).
- In-depth knowledge of multispecific landscape and trends across immunology, oncology, and neuroscience.
- Ability to identify emerging areas and connect research ideas to advance platforms/programs.
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
- Team player in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment; strong verbal/written communication and can-do attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sequence analysis tools (Vector NTI, Geneious, Genedata).
- Mass spectrometry analysis/software (Protein Metrics).
- CRO coordination for production.
- Expertise in current protein expression/separation/analytical technologies.
- Program management across biologic pipeline progression through candidate nomination.
- Experience managing direct reports; performance evaluations and development.
- Peer-reviewed publications and patents.
