Sr. Scientist I, Translational Genetics & Real-World Evidence

Role: Senior Scientist specializing in human genetics, multi-omics, and real-world clinical data integration to support therapeutic development at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities: analyze large-scale biobank and clinical datasets (EHR, claims, registries), generate insights for target validation, indication prioritization, patient stratification, and biomarker discovery; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Translational Genetics, Data Science, Clinical Development, and Discovery Biology; develop scalable analytical workflows; present findings to stakeholders and contribute to scientific publications. Requirements: PhD in Biostatistics, Statistical Genetics, Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, or related field; 3+ years in biomedical data science, human genetics, or real-world data analysis; proficiency in R/Python; experience with biobank datasets (e.g., UK Biobank, FinnGen), and real-world data models (e.g., OMOP/OHDSI). Preferred: industry/post-doc experience, advanced statistical methods (PheWAS, Mendelian randomization), machine learning, and familiarity with clinical data infrastructure.
