Job Description (Onsite)
Onsite at global headquarters in Foster City, CA.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced PK and PK/PD modeling expertise across discovery and development stages; guide design and interpretation of nonclinical PK, toxicology, and pharmacology studies.
- Drive quantitative DMPK strategy for programs; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, integrate modeling into decision-making, and communicate insights to scientists, collaborators, and management.
- Design, implement, and validate complex PK/PD and mechanistic models to support translational questions, dose selection, and predict first-in-human exposures.
- Develop and refine modeling workflows for nonclinical study design, including simulation-based approaches to optimize study parameters and interpret outcomes; apply AI-based enhancements where possible.
- Work with project teams, line management, and CROs to ensure high-quality and timely regulatory submission documents.
- Participate in business development and licensing evaluations.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Ph.D. with 5+ years post-graduate industry experience in PK, drug metabolism, pharmaceutics, or related field; quantitative modeling focus across discovery/development (small molecules, biologics, ADCs, targeted protein degraders, etc.).
- Strong PK/PD principles; ability to translate into mathematical models.
- Extensive mechanistic PK/PD and multi-compartmental modeling experience; proficiency with Phoenix/WinNonlin, MATLAB/SimBiology, GastroPlus, SimBiology, R, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to design/implement/interpret complex modeling workflows; communicate results and next steps.
- Hands-on AI in model-building and workflow automation/streamlining.
- Intellectual curiosity and staying current via publications/presentations/professional involvement.
- Excellent communication skills.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $169,320.00–$219,120.00.
- May be eligible for discretionary annual bonus and stock-based long-term incentives; paid time off; benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
