Role: Research Scientist specializing in oncology within the Discovery Oncology team, leading experimental strategies to advance target validation, pathway analysis, and mechanistic studies. Responsibilities: develop and implement innovative research approaches, contribute to biomarker discovery and preclinical candidate characterization, interpret literature, and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams. Requirements: PhD or equivalent in oncology, biology, or related STEM field; or MS with 5+ years, or BS with 7+ years in pharma/biotech; proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques (e.g., western blot, flow cytometry, CRISPR); ability to independently drive experimental strategies and troubleshoot. Preferred: experience across therapeutic modalities, integrating diverse experimental data, and prior oncology research. HighValue: oncology, mechanistic studies, biomarker discovery, preclinical development, mammalian cell culture, early discovery pipeline. WorkSetup: based in Boston; travel approximately 10%.
