Role: Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Proteomics within Amgen’s Discovery Proteomics group, supporting preclinical research. Responsibilities: develop computational tools, data infrastructure, and analytical pipelines for mass spectrometry-based proteomics data; conduct statistical analysis; facilitate biomarker discovery, target evaluation, and mechanism-of-action studies; collaborate across genomic and proteomic platforms and with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements: Doctorate in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Proteomics, or related fields; or Master’s with 3+ years, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of scientific experience; proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Unix/Linux, cloud computing (AWS); experience with large-scale omics data, data visualization, machine learning, and version control. Preferred: expertise in quantitative proteomics, meta-analysis, deep learning, and biological insights into Immunology, Oncology, or Cardiometabolic diseases; strong scientific publication record; excellent communication skills; team-oriented.
