A Typical Day In This Role Looks Like
- Lead and deliver on characterization activities to elucidate product quality attributes like post-translational modifications, sequence variants, charge variants, size variants, and host cell proteins.
- Provide technical support for cross-functional teams (formulation development, upstream/downstream process development, manufacturing) to tackle real-time development challenges in process development and manufacturing for OOS/OOT investigations.
- Proactively advance LC-MS analysis of biotherapeutics by developing technical innovations that support future developmental needs and/or efficiency gains.
- Perform sample preparation and LC-MS-based experiments independently based on SOPs; document experiments, results, and findings in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
- Prepare and review regulatory submission documents (IND, comparability, BLA) and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.
- Serve as a team representative, provide analytical expertise to cross-functional teams, and present findings at internal and external meetings.
