Responsibilities:
- Independently design and conduct functional cell-based studies to dissect mechanisms of immune-suppressive activity of therapeutic molecules and their targets
- Stay current with scientific developments and implement innovative scientific/technological approaches to advance therapeutic protein discovery for autoimmune suppression
- Independently develop, troubleshoot, and optimize diverse bioassays (e.g., luciferase, enzymatic, cell proliferation, Flow Cytometry, cytokine secretion assays)
- Maintain, engineer, and characterize mammalian cells (transfection/transduction, stable cell line generation, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, immunoblotting) and perform primary immune cell isolation/characterization
- Perform high-throughput screens using 96- and 384-well plate formats
- Document procedures/results, generate experimental reports, and communicate results to supervisors, team members, and research focus groups
Qualifications/Requirements:
- PhD with at least 3 years of experience, or Masterβs degree with at least 5 years of experience
