Sr. Scientist 1

Role: Lead drug product formulation development and manufacturing activities within BioMarin’s CMC team, focusing on solid oral dosage forms, oligos, peptides, and parenteral drug products. Responsibilities: oversee formulation strategies across non-clinical and clinical phases, drive process development, coordinate with cross-functional teams (Research, Analytical, Manufacturing, Regulatory), lead technical troubleshooting, and contribute to regulatory documentation. Serve as scientific monitor for formulation and tech transfer activities at CDMOs/CMOs, and support vendor selection and evaluations. Requirements: Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience; or MS/BS with extensive industry expertise. Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, hands-on experience in solid and parenteral formulation, knowledge of GMP, and familiarity with regulatory filings. Preferred: gene therapy or complex drug delivery experience.
