Your Role:
As a Senior Research Scientist in Analytical Development, you will be a key scientific leader on the Technical Development (TD) team, advancing analytical and dissolution control strategies for a small molecule portfolio and supporting the drug development pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and deliver analytical and dissolution methods and specifications; evaluate and implement new technologies.
- Interpret complex scientific data; report and present technical results to internal teams and at external conferences.
- Author and support international registration documents; partner with manufacturing and regulatory colleagues for technical submissions.
- Mentor and coach emerging technical talent.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external quality standards and guidelines (GxP, SOPs, HSE).
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Education: PhD (5+ years), MS (10+ years), or BS (15+ years) in Analytical Chemistry/Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
- Experience: Expertise in chromatographic (HPLC/UPLC), spectroscopic (UV/VIS), and dissolution method development (USP Apparatus II and IV).
- Top skills: Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements for new drug products; successful regulatory interactions (e.g., FDA/CVM, EMA) on analytical topics.
