Role: Senior Research Associate in Moderna's RNA Innovation team, focused on chemical biology of mRNA. Responsibilities: design and execute experiments on RNA modifications' impact on stability and translation using biochemical and cell-based methods; employ analytical techniques like RT/qPCR, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and NGS library prep; maintain lab operations and communicate findings. Requirements: MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field; 2+ years' experience, with 3-5 preferred; strong knowledge of nucleic acid biochemistry and RNA work; site-based in Cambridge, MA, with no remote work. Preferred: experience with mammalian cell culture, analytical RNA techniques, excellent collaboration and organizational skills, and quick learning ability.
