Sr. Research Associate, ID Immunology

Role: Senior Research Associate in Infectious Disease Immunology at Moderna, focusing on vaccine and therapeutic development from preclinical to IND-enabling studies. Responsibilities: design, execute, and optimize antibody binding and functional serological assays (ELISA, Luminex, MSD, Octet), support epitope mapping, maintain cell cultures, analyze data, and contribute to assay development and automation efforts. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in immunology, microbiology, vaccinology, or related field with 2+ years’ experience; hands-on expertise with ligand binding assays and assay design; strong attention to detail and adaptability. Preferred: experience across diverse pathogen types, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative problem-solving skills.
