Role: Senior Research Associate in Analytical Technical Operations supporting Moderna's mRNA pipeline. Objectives: execute bioassay testing for development, characterization, release, and stability of mRNA products. Responsibilities: perform routine cell-based ELISA assays to evaluate in vitro relative protein expression; culture and maintain mammalian cell lines; prepare assay plates, manage workflows, operate lab instrumentation, analyze data, and maintain accurate records. Lead or assist in assay optimization, troubleshoot experimental challenges, support method transfer and automation initiatives, including the integration of digital and AI tools. Qualifications: MS or Bachelor's in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years of lab experience; hands-on experience with cell culture, ELISA, and bioassays; familiarity with aseptic techniques and data analysis. Preferred: Master’s or additional years of relevant experience; expertise in cell-based ELISA, IVRPE, potency assays; proficiency with automated workflows and assay troubleshooting; experience mentoring junior staff.
