Role Summary

Senior Regional Sales Manager, Monarch – US West. Lead end-to-end area program development and clinical success for Johnson & Johnson’s Surgical Robotics Technologies. Hire, develop, and manage a team of Clinical Specialists, Account Managers, and Regional Managers; develop and execute business plans; lead clinical and technical product discussions and demonstrations; drive adoption and utilization of Auris Health products; educate physicians and staff on product use.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans which achieve procedure sales and disposable sales revenue targets within the assigned geographical territory.
  • Maintain a detailed, regularly updated strategic business plan for the territory and assist the Account Manager team with developing and executing their own territory plans.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing their team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the customer base and strengthen the team’s presence in the geography.
  • Recruit, coach, and monitor performance of all direct reports.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with the Account Manager team and customers, understanding needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and forecasts to the Area Director and Sales Management team.
  • Share sales successes and strategies within the Area, with peers and the Director of Sales.
  • Collaborate with Territory Manager and Key Accounts to maximize Auris Health capital system and procedure sales.
  • Lead product technical and clinical demonstrations to ensure sales and adoption of Auris Health technologies.
  • Lead referral education activities to increase procedure sales.
  • Implement post-sales installation, implementation, and adoption protocols with the sales and service teams to achieve objectives.
  • Support new customers in clinical adoption of Auris Health technologies.
  • Ensure customer can achieve clinical and economic goals with the new technology and drive higher utilization.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all Auris Health products and stay ahead of industry and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • 8+ years of relevant healthcare experience required.
  • 3+ years in capital sales required.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical knowledge to physicians and economic buyers.
  • Travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned territory.
  • Work in hospital or ASC settings, attending live patient cases as required and wear necessary protective gear.
  • Self-starter with autonomy and strong problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong team collaboration and willingness to share learnings with management and peers.
  • Receptive to feedback and able to work in a matrix team environment.
  • Ability to articulate customer needs and feedback to the organization.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate frequently with sales management and the broader organization.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
