Role Summary
Senior Regional Sales Manager for Monarch – US West. This role leads end-to-end area program development, clinical success, and driving utilization of Johnson & Johnson’s Surgical Robotics Technologies. You will recruit, develop, and lead a team of Clinical Specialists, Account Managers and Regional Managers, manage business plans for assigned territories, guide clinical and technical product discussions, oversee post-sales installation and adoption, and educate physicians and staff on Auris Health products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans which achieve procedure sales and disposable sales revenue targets within the assigned geographical territory.
- Maintain a detailed, regularly updated strategic business plan for the territory and assist the Account Manager team with developing, managing and executing their own detailed territory Business Plan.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing their team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures strong presence within the geography.
- Responsible for recruiting, coaching and performance monitoring of all direct reports.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with the Account Manager team and customers, understanding both needs.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Area Director and Sales Management team.
- Communicate at a high level and share sales successes and winning sales strategies within the Area, with peers and with the Director of Sales.
- Work with the Area’s Territory Manager and Key Accounts counterparts to execute key strategic sales activities that maximize Auris Health capital system sales and procedure sales.
- Assist team with leading product technical and clinical demonstrations to ensure eventual sales and adoption of Auris Health technologies.
- Execute key referral education activities that lead to increased procedure sales.
- Implement post-sales installation, implementation and adoption protocols in collaboration with the sales team and service team to achieve the desired business objectives.
- Support new customers in clinical adoption of Auris Health technologies.
- Work with the customer to ensure they achieve clinical and economic goals with the new technology and drive higher utilization rates.
- Develop and maintain expert level knowledge of all Auris Health products and stay ahead of industry and market trends.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant healthcare experience required
- A minimum of 3 years in capital sales required
- Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate technical product as well as clinical knowledge of disease states to physicians and economic buyers
- Travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned territory
- Required to work in a hospital, ASC setting, attending live patient cases as required and wear protective gear
- Self-starter with autonomy, problem-solving and ability to work under pressure
- Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and able to work within a matrix team
- Ability to articulate customer needs and feedback to the organization
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Ability to communicate with sales management and broader organization on a daily basis
- Ability to work in a regulated environment compliant with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820
