Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with data science, engineering, and platform teams to operationalize analytics/AI solutions end-to-end; ensure production-ready, scalable implementations integrated into user experiences.
- Translate complex business questions into structured analytical problems; deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create visualizations and data-driven narratives for operational and executive audiences.
- Design, build, and deploy analytics, statistical models, and machine learning solutions for:
- Spend and buying pattern analysis
- Demand forecasting and planning optimization
- Supplier performance and risk evaluation
- Apply data science to drive cost savings, mitigate supply/continuity risks, and ensure contract and policy compliance.
- Use SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyze procurement data.
- Build, automate, and maintain data pipelines and analytical workflows using Airflow and Alteryx.
- Integrate analytics/AI insights into procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba) for real-time, workflow-embedded decision support.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and integrity across procurement systems and sources.
- Own and scale AI-enabled analytics, including predictive forecasting/optimization, workflow-embedded recommendations, and real-time automation/AI agents.
- Drive adoption by embedding insights into decision workflows.
- Measure, track, and communicate impact (efficiency gains, cost savings, risk reduction, improved user/supplier experience).
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement through tools, standards, and training.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience
OR
- Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience
OR
- PhD and 2 years’ experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Track record applying procurement principles/best practices/standards.
- In-depth procurement technology knowledge (ERP, e-procurement, digital tools); manage integrations and troubleshoot.
- Experience leading cross-functional reengineering/process improvement (process diagrams, workflow analysis, SOPs).
- Superior communication, presentation, and change leadership/management skills.
- Experience leading AI-enabled business transformation/automation.
- Familiarity with procurement, finance, operations, or enterprise systems analytics.
- Ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Experience supporting multiple projects/teams in a matrixed organization.
- Understanding of end-to-end supplier lifecycle (risk assessment/onboarding, due diligence, offboarding).
