Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across radiopharmaceutical production, process development, and facility operations.
- Guide evaluation, selection, commissioning, and optimization of critical production and purification equipment in a new facility.
- Lead troubleshooting and problem resolution in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Identify and drive process improvements and technology enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Oversee development/approval of technical documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze process data and trends to identify quality and throughput improvement opportunities.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Provide mentorship, training, and thought leadership; promote continuous improvement.
- Support implementation/integration of new technologies and automation solutions.
- Maintain awareness of industry advancements and recommend improvements.
- Champion safety and regulatory compliance.
- May require up to 15% travel and off-hours guidance for critical equipment emergencies.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemical, Nuclear, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Masterโ€™s/PhD preferred).
- 7+ years in radiopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or regulated manufacturing.
- Hands-on particle accelerator operation/maintenance (plus).
- Advanced knowledge of hot cell systems, radiation safety protocols, and radioisotope handling.
- Expertise in purification methods, analytical instrumentation, and material transfer in controlled environments.
- Knowledge of OSHA/NRC; understanding of cGMP, GDP, and FDA requirements for radiopharmaceutical processing.
- Proven ability to lead projects/teams in a radiation-controlled environment.
