Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for global HSE programs including HSE management systems, emergency response, global metrics, and HSE enterprise IT solutions.
- Administer Global HSE Management Systems processes, metrics, and standards; manage the Notification to Management (NTM) process and integration with enterprise HSE systems.
- Serve as process owner for Global HSE Standards and Metrics; lead HSE Standards Change Control Board (CCB) governance and manage CCB documents.
- Implement, develop, and administer enterprise HSE IT solutions (e.g., Sphera—transitioning from Credit 360; Intelex—investigations, compliance calendar, inspections, mapping) including system access and data collection lifecycle.
- Support IT tool implementations for global systems (e.g., Veeva, Cority, Sphera, Intelex) representing HSE interests.
- Develop, validate, and sustain Business Intelligence (BI) tools for HSE information sharing; develop/execute BI validation and transition unvalidated to validated sites.
- Co-Chief of Staff for the corporate Incident Support Team (IST); maintain IST Plan, coordinate exercises, manage IST documents, and train IST members.
- Lead global HSE initiatives and enterprise-wide systems project management; provide HSE IT governance support aligned to digital strategy and compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in Safety, Environmental, project management, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or HSE-related field.
- Experience with HSE management systems and digital enterprise software platforms (e.g., Sphera, Intelex).
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor work authorization/visas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Persuasive communication; ability to manage multiple issues/projects.
- Strong project management/organizational skills.
- Knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements and compliance activities.
- Experience with IT system administration/ownership; risk/crisis/disaster recovery.
- Project/program management experience; knowledge of HSE policies/procedures, data management, metrics, and reporting systems.
