Role Summary

Regeneron is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Principal Scientist to contribute to the discovery and validation of exciting novel therapeutic approaches aimed at harnessing the immune system to treat cancer. You will work with and across several functional teams to coordinate and drive pre-clinical research efforts at Regeneron.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and supervise/perform complex anti-tumor efficacy studies in mice
  • Document experimental procedures and results in a well-organized fashion; generate experimental reports and write manuscripts for journal submission
  • Compile results across experiments and programs and present research strategy/results and participate in scientific discussion with multi-disciplinary teams and senior leadership
  • Performing deep dives on potential targets
  • Interfacing with colleagues from different therapeutic focus areas at Regeneron
  • Following current relevant literature and attending scientific conferences to seek out, recognize, and assess novel biology and technologies in this space

Qualifications

  • Have a PhD in Immunology, Oncology, or Immuno-Oncology with 10+ years experience (at least 4 years post-doctoral experience and 3 plus years of industry experience in Immunology and/or Immuno-Oncology) or MS in Immunology, Oncology or I/O with 15+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with development of novel Immunotherapeutics, in vivo testing, and multi-color flow cytometry is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with antibody technology or development is a plus
  • Possess strong and critical data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Have a proven track record of success working in a matrix/cross functional environment
  • Are a strong and generous collaborator, who enjoys engaging colleagues across disciplines
  • Have leadership strengths and can effectively communicate and navigate in a matrix environment
  • Possess excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
