The role involves building and mentoring a high-performing team of biomarker scientists and partnering with cross-functional teams such as Translational Medicine and Data Science. Requirements include a Ph.D., MD, or equivalent in life sciences, extensive experience in developing cellular, circulating, proteomic, genetic, and genomic biomarker assays within pharma/biotech contexts, with expertise in platforms like PCR, NGS, immunoassays, and mass spectrometry. Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in multiomics profiling and patient stratification. The work is based in Cambridge, MA, with relocation support, and involves strategic scientific innovation within a high-impact translational research environment.
