Sr Principal Scientist

Role: Senior Principal Scientist leading the development of next-generation assay reagents and detection technologies for advanced biomarker analysis platforms, focusing on spatial dyes, bead systems, and bioconjugation chemistry. Responsibilities: serve as a scientific expert in assay development, define technology roadmaps, lead innovation in spatial dye architectures, bead surface chemistries, and conjugation strategies; oversee complex technical investigations and intellectual property generation. Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field; 20+ years industry experience in assay or reagent development, with expertise in biomarker detection technologies, multiplexed assays, spatial biomarker applications, and regulated diagnostic environments. Preferred: proven track record translating science into commercial products, patents, high-impact publications, experience with scaling manufacturing, and familiarity with diagnostics (IVD, CLIA, FDA). High-Value: focus on ultra-sensitive protein detection, multiplexing, spatial biology, and platform innovation supporting disease research and diagnostics.
