Sr. Principal, Medical Science Liaison - VitRet Central/Northeast

Role: Senior Principal Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within Alcon’s R&D, focusing on the VitRet portfolio to advance eye care products and patient outcomes. Responsibilities: develop peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts, support product adoption through evidence-based scientific exchange, conduct scientific discussions, oversee investigator-initiated trials (Phases III and IV), and ensure regulatory and safety compliance including adverse event reporting. Serve as medical advisor to internal teams and external partners, including regulatory authorities; contribute to safety reviews and medical safety issues; and collaborate across Medical Affairs, Regulatory, R&D, and Commercial functions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7+ years related experience; strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, GxP standards, and medical regulatory environments. Preferred: experience with ophthalmology, clinical trial management, and external stakeholder engagement.
