This role provides strategic and technical environmental expertise within Global HSE, driving enterprise-level environmental strategy, governance, and performance across global manufacturing operations.

Key Objectives / Deliverables
- Define, own, and advance global environmental programs, standards, and governance frameworks aligned with enterprise HSE priorities and business needs.
- Establish and drive consistent implementation of environmental standards and expectations across sites.
- Lead development and execution of complex environmental permitting strategies (Air, Water, Waste), including regulatory engagement.
- Lead interpretation and application of global environmental regulations in partnership with Legal.
- Anticipate and translate evolving regulations and industry trends into actionable internal standards, guidance, and strategies.
- Identify, prioritize, and mitigate enterprise-level environmental risks.
- Conduct environmental assessments and provide site support to identify gaps, evaluate compliance, and drive corrective actions.
- Own and evolve environmental data systems, tools, and performance metrics.
- Influence Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Legal, and other functions to integrate environmental considerations.
- Represent the company in regulatory interactions and technical networks.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, and risk management in complex regulated environments.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex projects and influence outcomes in ambiguous situations.
- Success evaluating complex environmental risks and developing business-aligned solutions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Additional Preferences
- Expertise in air, water, and/or waste regulatory frameworks; multi-site/global experience; pharmaceutical/highly regulated manufacturing experience; international regulations; leading audits/assessments/inspections; capital projects/major permitting; translating technical/regulatory concepts for senior leadership.

Other Information
- Travel required (<10%).

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)
- Anticipated wage: $115,500 - $184,800; eligibility for company bonus and comprehensive benefit program (401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off/leave, and well-being benefits).
