Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic/Prevention Specialist for HIV Prevention in the Shreveport, LA territory. Represents Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base, focusing on generating and growing sales by meeting or exceeding targets through an account management approach, including in-person engagement with healthcare practices and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Sales Strategy: Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, understand their needs, and maximize the impact of Gilead's products; develop and execute a territory business plan and monitor progress to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Product & Disease State Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of Gilead's products and the disease state; promote appropriate use to healthcare professionals in line with guidelines.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Partner with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience and collaborate with external organizations to expand reach and drive sales.
  • Leadership & Compliance: Model ethical behavior and ensure adherence to regulatory policies; timely reporting of adverse events and compliance with all laws and company policies.
  • Customer Engagement & Reporting: Leverage influence to drive sales, build long-term partnerships, and complete administrative tasks including reporting activities and managing territory budget; continuous learning and self-motivated performance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Education/Experience combinations: High School with 11 years' experience; Associates with 9 years; Bachelor's with 7 years; Master's with 5 years.
  • Preferred: BA or BS degree; 7+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industry sales; proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives; experience selling injectable physician-administered products; familiarity with managed care landscape.
