Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Excellence to be located fully on site in Jacksonville, FL. The Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Excellence plays a vital role in driving the organization's strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This leadership position is responsible for developing, executing, and refining strategic plans while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Establishes robust performance management systems, KPIs, and escalation protocols. Supports the development/execution/orchestration business forums to drive effective leadership governance and seamless execution of strategic initiatives for our MTSC Center organization. This position will collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders across multiple functions and Business Units, and interfaces with Sr. Leaders across the MTSC Center Organization.

Business Excellence & Performance Management

  • Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards to track progress, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develops, implements and orchestrates the update of dashboards to enable Performance Reviews, Business Reviews, and consolidated MTSCC performance for external stakeholders.
  • Drives continuous improvement to enhance/evolve/simplify our Performance Reviews.

Strategy & Governance

  • Supports the development and execution of MTSC Center strategic roadmap while ensuring alignment with BU priorities (Surgery, Vision, EP, NV, Ortho, and others) and MTSC strategic priorities.
  • Lead/Shape the governance process for prioritizing/monitoring strategic initiatives and ensuring processes are in place and executed with appropriate controls, metrics, and leadership updates.
  • Ensure effective portfolio including orchestration of Portfolio initiatives & Governance.

Leading/Influencing/Change Management

  • Leading/Influencing/Collaboration with Global strategy & portfolio Leaders across MTSC Center.
  • Champion change management efforts related to strategic transformations, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and methodologies within our MT functions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Synthesize insights into compelling narratives that influence direction, enable decision-making, and strengthen executive alignment.
  • Serve as central connector across MTSC functions to ensure strategic initiatives are properly communicated/cascaded, fostering a culture of collaboration & engagement.

Required Minimum Education

  • University/Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
  • Multiple and/or elevated degree(s) is preferred.

Required Years Of Related Experience

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience in Operations/Supply Chain, Portfolio/Project Management, Continuous Improvement with a track record of success. Hands-on experience in a manufacturing site environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies such as JJPS/JJOS with proven record of leading/realizing improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of schedule development/management, financial assessments and budgeting.
  • Strong business insights, relationship building skills, and effective partner management to deliver results.
  • Experience managing cross-functional workstreams, specifically across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to function effectively and multitask when presented with ambitious timelines.
  • Good listening and problem-solving skills when managing potential conflicts across functions.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Lean and/or Six-Sigma certification.
  • Proficient in Project/Program Management methodologies with certifications in PMP, FPX or equivalent certification (7yrs. Min).
  • Experience shaping/leading PMOs with proven record of results.
  • Development experience with data/visualization systems including Tableau, Planisware, PowerApps, and Power BI.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence.
  • Experience in leading Change Management initiatives.
  • Minimum 5 years People Management experience.
  • 25% Travel.
