Senior Manager, Strategic Capacity Management (SCM) β€” Wound Closure & Healing (WCH) platform within Surgery Business Unit.

Role Summary:
Drive the SCM process embedded in WCH, reporting to the LRPP/SCM Business Process Leader within Integrated Business Management (IBM). Lead and orchestrate WCH SCM across global stakeholders and evaluate long-term supply chain scenarios (2–10 year horizon) to identify critical demand/supply situations and provide insights/recommendations for Value Stream Leaders (from operational changes to multi-million dollar investments).

Key Responsibilities
People:
- Integrate with stakeholders providing modeling inputs and internal customers using SCM conclusions.
- Lead process improvements with a customer-first mentality; use technology to reduce cycle lags.
- Apply problem-solving to bridge data gaps and create feasible models/scenarios.
Process:
- Drive annual strategic planning cadence and communications; demonstrate influence without authority.
- Proactively identify opportunities across capacity and areas like new product launches, technology requirements, business continuity, regulatory validations, inventory/cycle time.
- Discuss capacity implications (procedure revenue forecasts, gross profit, market share, inventory, market/region impacts, phase-in/phase-out, E&O).
Tools:
- Own SCM models in OMP; scenario generation/reporting.
- Champion large-data modeling tools (Python/R/Alteryx) and digital maturity.
- Own PowerBI reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; STEM-focused preferred (engineering, logistics, supply chain, computing, finance/economics).
Required:
- 8+ years relevant experience.
- Team leadership in logistics/planning/manufacturing (medical device or closely related).
- Proven expertise building process models (flow/constraints).
- Familiarity with simulation and optimization models/tools.
Preferred:
- Theory of Constraints and/or System Dynamics experience.
- Working knowledge of OMP, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or Jonova; ability to train others to validate/challenge models.
Other:
- Up to 30% travel.
