Sr Mgr Global Procurement- Lab Consumables

Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the global Lab Consumables Category strategy for global and regional business needs
- Align category priorities with Procurement management and cross-functional stakeholders via strategic sourcing initiatives
- Manage negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management for the Lab Consumables category (in consultation with Law department)
- Drive cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency gains through category management
- Represent Global Procurement in organizational decisions with critical short- and long-term impact on category performance
- Leverage market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier engagement to strengthen knowledge of supply market dynamics
- Apply data analytics, automation, and visualization tools to generate insights and communicate results to stakeholders and senior leadership

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + 8+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in Pharma/BioPharma
- In-depth knowledge of managing global category processes and suppliers
- Proven success managing suppliers and category processes across multiple categories through sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Sourcing/contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx or sourcing platform systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, LabViva, Zageno, Science Exchange, Scientist.com)
- Data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate)
- Inventory management programs/technologies (e.g., RFID, QR codes, consignment, VMI, single-use materials, biore…)
