Sr Metrology Technician Dunkirk / Buffalo, NY

Role: Senior Metrology Technician responsible for calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of process instrumentation and manufacturing equipment in a biotech/pharma GMP setting. Objectives include ensuring equipment accuracy, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical plant systems such as sterilization, filling, filtration, and electrical controls; install, modify, and oversee equipment upgrades; support engineering projects, and manage calibration programs and data. Qualifications: High school diploma with 9+ years, technical certification with 7+ years, or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of GMP biotech/pharma experience; experience with CMMS, metrology, critical utility systems (WFI, PUW); knowledge of cGMPs, OSHA, and safety standards. Skills: strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and instrumentation skills; ability to read wiring diagrams and P&ID drawings; proficiency with hand tools, calibration, and repair of electronic and pneumatic systems; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
