Sr Medical Screener - Reception Technician (Customer Service) (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Role: Donor Screening Technician supporting plasma donation centers, responsible for screening, education, equipment calibration, and safety adherence. Responsibilities: assist donors with health history assessments, perform blood pressure/pulse/weight/temperature checks, conduct finger sticks for hematocrit and protein levels, ensure accurate data recording, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a compliant and safe environment. May participate in donor registration and provide technical guidance to staff. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 18 months experience in clerical/customer service roles, preferably in healthcare; ability to perform basic math; strong communication skills; familiarity with health and safety protocols, including handling hazardous chemicals and bloodborne pathogens. Preferred: bilingual skills and cross-training in other center functions. High-Value: experience in medical or health provider settings, familiarity with plasma collection processes, and adherence to OSHA/HSE standards. WorkSetup: physical environment includes standing/walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, extended hours, and use of PPE; may involve working in a fast-paced setting with exposure to extreme temperatures and hazardous materials.
