About The Role
Interacts with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare decision makers in psychiatry and neurology to advance the scientific platform. Supports company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, delivers clinical and pharmaco-economic presentations to payers, trains faculty for the speaker’s bureau, supports scientific congresses, and serves as a resource for medical and scientific inquiries. May represent the company at patient advocacy, professional society, or other meetings. Territory: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky (ideal candidate lives in the Chicago area, near a major airport).
Your Contributions
- Establish peer-to-peer, science-based relationships with KOLs and healthcare decision makers
- Deliver fair, balanced, credible medical and scientific presentations; support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research
- Participate in conferences/meetings as a scientific expert; train speaker’s bureau faculty
- Serve as a scientific resource for KOLs and internal personnel
- Use KOL insights to strategically guide the organization’s educational efforts
- Compile and interpret data (e.g., congress presentations, KOL interactions, posters) to provide clinical insights
- Perform responsibilities with highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines, healthcare compliance requirements/SOPs, and pharmaceutical industry best practices
- Guide and mentor less experienced colleagues
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- PharmD or PhD in a health science field AND 4+ years equivalent field-based experience (2+ years CNS therapeutic area preferred)
OR
- MD/DO AND 2+ years related experience
- Anticipates business/industry issues; recommends process/technical/service improvements
- Demonstrates broad expertise/unique knowledge; considered an expert with possible external presence
- Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent computer skills

- Solid understanding of drug development and life-cycle management (preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and regulatory trends impacting field medical
