Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Obesity within Amgen’s Medical Affairs team, covering Utah and Nevada. Primary objectives include serving as the scientific/clinical expert for healthcare providers, opinion leaders, and population health decision makers, to communicate clinical data and support patient outcomes in obesity and related conditions. Responsibilities encompass peer-to-peer scientific exchanges, engaging with investigators and healthcare stakeholders, supporting research initiatives, and contributing to congress activities and speaker training. The role also involves fostering internal and external partnerships and providing strategic insights to internal teams. Requirements: Doctorate (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.) with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years. Preferred qualifications include extensive experience in clinical or medical research, biotech/pharma MSL experience (2+ years), and expertise in cardiometabolic and obesity fields.
