Sr Medical Director, Translational Clinical Development

Role: Senior Medical Director leading early clinical development for rare disease assets at BioMarin, overseeing Phase 1 and 2 studies from first-in-human to proof of concept. Responsibilities: develop and execute clinical strategies, serve as clinical team leader, design innovative trial protocols, contribute to regulatory submissions, and guide biomarker and translational research. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, biometrics, regulatory, and clinical operations to generate high-value data for regulatory and development decisions. Provide leadership and mentorship within the organization, support business development through technical assessments, and represent BioMarin in external scientific forums.
