About The Role
May be responsible for Publications/Grants or Medical Content functional areas. Build and execute a strategic publication plan and develop an independent medical education program across multiple therapeutic areas, including early pipeline products. Lead cross-functional teams in creating and executing strategic scientific communications of medical resources across designated therapeutic areas, including approved and pipeline products. Ideal candidate has CNS experience and/or experience with Psychiatry/Neurology.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Identify, procure, and distribute findings from emerging scientific literature relevant to company development programs
- Manage and plan projects with the Medical Communications team (publications, Advisory Boards, Steering Committee meetings)
- Research and respond to Level 2 Medical Information (MI) request escalations with timely, accurate, fair/balanced medical/scientific responses
- Serve as an expert Medical resource to internal stakeholders, including the MI call center
- Work cross-functionally within Medical Affairs to ensure seamless interface between systems (Scientific Library, MSL CRM tool, MI databases)
- Support staffing/operations of the Medical Affairs booth at scientific conferences/congresses
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- PharmD or PhD required with 4+ years of Medical Communications/publication management or related experience OR MD required with some Medical Communications/publication management or related experience
- Proficiency with literature searching databases
- Proven ability to build strategy and manage matrix teams
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret medical data
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory guidelines for dissemination of medical information and product promotion
- Strong leadership/mentoring; ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
- Excellent computer skills; excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
