Senior Marketing Manager, Ottava US Systems (Santa Clara, CA)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the US hospital Ottava program rollout strategy, from capital purchase through launch, activation, and early utilization.
- Define best-practice launch models aligned to hospital economics, operational readiness, and Ottava differentiated capabilities.
- Identify and address systemic barriers to successful program launch across administrators, robotic coordinators, OR leadership, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Serve as subject-matter expert on unmet needs of US hospital executives, administrators, and robotic coordinators.
- Identify emerging US trends in capital purchase behavior, robotic program structure, reimbursement considerations, and patient activation.
- Translate insights into Challenger-based narratives that reframe how hospitals launch and scale robotic surgery programs.
- Define US peer-to-peer customer engagement strategy to launch successful Ottava programs.
- Determine where peer learning (administrator/executive, coordinator/coordinator, and system-level) accelerates adoption.
- Inform educational forums, customer events, and launch programming with system-level insight.
- Serve as single point of contact for US Capital Sales for marketing needs.
- Partner with Capital Sales to understand field challenges related to hospital decision-making and program launch.
- Own creation of insight-led tools, programs, and decision enablement resources that help Capital Sales drive Ottava adoption.
- Equip Sales to guide complex enterprise buying groups and launch teams through structured, prescriptive conversations.
- Support hospitals during readiness, activation, early utilization, and expansion.
- Deliver ongoing insight-driven resources to help hospitals operationalize Ottava system operations and build sustainable robotic programs.
- Act as strategic partner to hospitals navigating launch complexity, organizational change, and early performance optimization.
- Serve as primary US hospital executive voice within Ottava, influencing program strategy, training approaches, evidence needs, and downstream marketing.
- Collaborate across Commercial, Training, Medical Affairs, Product, and Operations teams to align to real-world hospital needs.
- Advocate for hospital customers while balancing enterprise strategy and long-term platform goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
- MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive business experience with increasing responsibility (e.g., marketing, sales, strategy, product development).
- Prior marketing experience in the medical device industry required.
- Experience with healthcare/medical capital equipment marketing required.
- Experience selling a capital medical device to US hospitals preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting hospital systems, enterprise customers, or complex healthcare organizations.
- Experience driving adoption/utilization/scale-up of complex medical technologies or capital programs preferred.
- Proven ability to define market landscapes, customer needs, and solution strategies; translate insights into actionable guidance for commercial and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize complex operational and market data into actionable strategies.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving; intellectual curiosity and learning agility to adapt to evolving business landscapes and challenges.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; persuasive storytelling to diverse audiences. Challenger methodology experience in marketing materials preferred.

Compensation / Location / Travel
- Based in Santa Clara; may require up to 50% travel (predominantly domestic).
- Anticipated base pay: $142,000 to $244,950
