Position Summary
The Sr. Manager, US Medical Learning - IMM manages the planning, development, implementation, execution, and optimization of training programs supporting field medical teams (Medical Science Liaisons/MSLs). This home-office-based role (flex) may support multiple therapeutic areas. Collaborates with WW Medical Learning, WW Commercialization Learning, HOM, and Medical Communications to co-create and leverage content and to execute training plans in a complex WW/US matrix.

Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, coordinate, and update FM new hire, disease state, product, and data onboarding (aligning with WW and US FM/HOM needs).
- Ensure launch readiness of FM through innovative learning design.
- Coordinate Field Readiness Validations (logistics).
- Ensure learning solutions align with TA strategies, communication priorities, scientific narratives, and core competencies.
- Evaluate scientific learning materials/programs and update based on stakeholder input.
- Collaborate with medical stakeholders to select outside speakers/consultants.
- Design training sessions using Adult Learning Principles; protect field time and ensure consistent timing.
- Coordinate training logistics for BMS scientific data releases at major US congresses.
- Create/adapt materials and tools to support effective delivery of product information/data to healthcare professionals.
- Incorporate innovation/technologies as appropriate; identify efficiencies for content development.
- Coordinate training for US FM teams for priority tiered clinical trials with Medical Excellence, WW Medical Learning, US FM Leadership, and R&D.

Other Responsibilities
- Complete assigned SOPs/training; adhere to job-specific SOPs/guidance.
- Coordinate with commercialization matrix partners (e.g., marketing, sales training).
- Manage vendors and budgets; comply with procurement SOPs for SOWs/POs.
- Maintain training materials/strategic plans using BMS platforms; attend business-critical FM meetings (incl. major congresses) as needed; participate in on-the-job training.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree required (MD/DO/PharmD/DNP/PhD/APN/NP/PA/MS strongly preferred).
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience preferred (incl. fellowship).
- 1+ years TA experience strongly preferred (field role/training role/fellowship).
- Immunology or Pulmonology experience strongly preferred.
- Strong public presentation skills; exceptional planning/organizational skills.
- Cross-functional interaction across geographies; ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written/interpersonal communication; build/maintain partnerships.
- Demonstrated application of adult learning principles.
- Self-starter with accountability; emotional intelligence; commitment and results orientation.
- Ability to manage complex projects with minimal direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), LMS/LXP, and AI applications (ChatGPT/MS Co-Pilot).
- Ability to travel for multiple meeting engagements.
