Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Project Team Leader, will lead and manage complex, high-impact supply chain projects from initiation to completion. Responsible for operational excellence, implementing innovative solutions, and optimizing site and global supply chain processes to support strategic objectives. Fosters cross-functional collaboration and leads a team to deliver results on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex supply chain projects (planning, execution, monitoring, closure) aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans (scope, resources, risk management, communication).
- Guide and mentor supply chain project professionals; build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (manufacturing, R&D, commercial, quality, finance) and external partners.
- Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements; translate into initiatives.
- Establish and track KPIs; report progress, risks, and challenges to senior leadership.
- Drive adoption of project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Facilitate decision-making, resolve conflicts, and address project impediments.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, global regulations, and internal policies.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven record leading large-scale, cross-functional supply chain projects.
- SAP knowledge and awareness.
- GMP experience required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (Lilly does not sponsor visas).

Additional Preference:
- End-to-end supply chain understanding (demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics); pharma experience; QMS systems experience.
- Familiar with upstream/downstream impacts.
- Project management methodologies (PMP/Lean Six Sigma desirable but not required).
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical/problem-solving skills; data-driven.
- Proficiency with project tools and AI integration (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Co-pilot, Nadia, Claude).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity; <10% travel.

Benefits/Compensation (if applicable):
- Anticipated wage: $93,750–$137,500; eligible for company bonus and comprehensive benefits (401(k), medical/dental/vision, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off/leave, well-being benefits).
