Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning & MRP will lead the Raritan CAR-T site Materials Planning and MRP function in support of commercial CAR-T manufacturing. Accountable for creating, executing, and continuously improving site Supply Plan and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing execution and patient supply.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end MRP process supporting CAR-T manufacturing at the Raritan site.
- Lead material supply plan creation/execution/governance aligned to demand, inventory strategy, and capacity.
- Own inventory management strategy for planning-controlled materials (coverage, safety stock, targets, shelf-life risk, scrap/obsolescence risk, inventory health).
- Establish/maintain planning master data (parameters, lead-times, lot sizing, reorder points, inventory policies).
- Serve as SAP S/4HANA planning SME; drive continuous improvement and optimization.
- Lead Site Critical Materials Review; monitor supply/inventory risks and maintain uninterrupted patient supply.
- Support Anaplan implementation and KPI reporting (SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, etc.).
- Lead/coach/develop MRP and inventory management team; manage performance, succession, cross-training.
- Ensure planning/inventory compliance with GMP/regulatory/internal quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain/Engineering/Business/Ops/Life Sciences or related (advanced degree/cert preferred).
- 6+ years in supply chain/materials planning/MRP/manufacturing planning/inventory/procurement planning.
- GMP-regulated manufacturing experience.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA (or equivalent ERP/MRP) including material master/planning parameters, MRP execution/exceptions, purchasing flow, process orders, stock transfers, inventory analytics.
- Advanced analytical skills; ability to influence cross-functionally; strong executive communication.
Preferred
- Cell & Gene Therapy/CAR-T/biologics/personalized medicine manufacturing experience.
- Anaplan, SAP APO/IBP/OMP, Kinaxis experience.
- People-leadership experience; CPIM/CSCP; Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
