Sr Manager, Supplier Strategy and Management, Biologics

Role: Senior Manager, Supplier Strategy and Management, Biologics, leading business relationships with biologics raw material suppliers. Objectives: optimize supplier performance, mitigate risks, and support development to commercialization efforts. Responsibilities: serve as primary contact for supplier negotiations, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and strategic supplier assessment; lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier risk management; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, and Development; support make-vs-buy decisions and participate in site assessments; lead meetings, develop budgets, and oversee operational excellence projects. Requirements: 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing or related field; BS/BA degree, with advanced degrees considered as relevant experience; knowledge of GMPs, CMC development, and biopharmaceutical regulations; strong negotiation, communication, project management, and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications: experience with biologics, supply chain strategy, and global supplier management; familiarity with ERP and project management software; up to 20% domestic/international travel.
