Job Overview:
Sr. Manager, Strategic Process (Strategy & Transformation, Supply Chain & Operations) leads strategic planning and portfolio strategy. Partners with commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, and finance leaders to shape long-range portfolio strategies, evaluate investment priorities, and translate market insights into actionable plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead orchestration of franchise/portfolio strategy development activities; deliver long-range portfolio plans (LRPP).
- Assess critical portfolio changes and moves and their implications for profitability and cash flow.
- Drive process integration and handoffs across LRFP, LRPP, Strategic Capacity Management, and IBP.
- Bridge Supply Chain with Commercial Marketing, Commercial Finance, Platform Leadership, and external stakeholders to gather inputs and align priorities.
- Develop and present insights/recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional governance forums.
- Align global strategy with regional execution to ensure measurable outcomes.
- Support annual strategic planning, operating plan, and budget cycles.
- Track performance vs. strategic objectives and identify corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelorβs degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience/skills (required): 8β10 years progressive experience (or equivalent) in strategy/analytics/operational excellence/project management/business transformation; strong project management; end-to-end strategic business planning; deep Orthopaedics business understanding (field ops & GTM); ability to engage business/tech partners for advanced data needs and long-term data foresight; define strategic vision and executable strategy; translate complex topics into practical solutions; strong communication/influencing across levels/geographies; autonomous initiative.
- Preferred: management consulting or corporate strategy background; experience in Commercial, Finance, or Value Stream; partner with external vendors/consultants; analytical/problem-solving translating into recommendations; executive-level communication.
