Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior technical contributor for the Salesforce platform, delivering hands-on development across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, APIs, custom objects, Flows, Lightning pages/apps, and security models.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable technical designs, implementation plans, and delivery roadmaps (Salesforce best practices).
- Design, build, and support Salesforce capabilities for business workflows, reporting, and third-party integrations.
- Provide technical leadership during implementation (architecture/design reviews, build quality oversight, engineering best practices).
- Drive delivery across the full SDLC: estimation, development, code review, testing support, release planning, and post-release stabilization.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce engineering standards (environment management, code reviews, automated testing expectations, documentation, maintainability).
- Build reusable platform assets (shared components, common objects/patterns, integration utilities, reference implementations).
- Contribute to platform strategy decisions (environment strategy, packaging/release practices, performance patterns/guardrails) and mentor/upskill others.
- Build/support integrations (Salesforce-to-Salesforce and enterprise/third-party) with error handling, monitoring/observability, and operational resilience.
- Contribute to data architecture/quality patterns (validation, consistent capture, reporting enablement) and partner on security/privacy/compliance/validation.
- Support operations: monitoring, incident response, defect remediation, root cause analysis, performance tuning, continuous improvement.
- Support planning for future Salesforce expansion and CRM lifecycle strategy evaluation.
- Partner with implementation vendors; act as technical escalation for complex issues and delivery risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years software development; 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development (Apex/LWC) with increasing solution design/technical leadership.
- Ability to bridge technical depth and business context.
- Strong integration/enterprise connectivity experience (API/middleware patterns, data sync, error handling, production support).
- CRM experience in regulated environments (healthcare/biopharma preferred).
- Excellent communication; collaborate with product/business partners and external vendors.
Preferred:
- Patient Services/patient support workflow experience (enrollment, consent, case/support) and related reporting.
- Salesforce industry solution experience (Omni Channel, Orchestration, Experience Cloud, knowledge management, or complex CRM transformations).
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, Application/System Architect).
