Role Summary
The Sr Manager, Regional Marketing- Oncology (Southeast) leads KOL engagement for a first-in-class HER2-targeted bispecific in biliary cancer with potential data in gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. This field-based role focuses on building product advocacy and supporting strategic and tactical plans within a defined geography and tumor type, reporting to the Director of Key Customer Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Help build KOL relationships and engagements in their respective regions
- Drive results in key areas, including KOL relationship management, insights collection/reporting, advocacy development, speaker identification, training and management
- Develop clinical and commercial knowledge of the GI cancers market; understand regional treatment and market specifics
- Help formulate strategic and tactical plans regarding KOL engagements based on regional market understanding
- Attend national and regional medical conferences and meetings
- Develop engagement plans to enhance relationships with external stakeholders βΓΓ¬ KOLs in key accounts
- Contribute to speaker bureau development, including recruiting, content development, training, execution, and evaluation of branded and unbranded educational programs
- Support advisory boards and other insight generation projects
- Prioritize and implement peer-to-peer education or other tactics that meet regional market needs
- Ensure plans and tactics meet compliance and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Required: 5+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (KOL engagement, Key Customer marketing, thought-leader liaison work, sales, marketing, or equivalent)
- Required: 3+ years of oncology experience
- Required: Previous KOL-facing experience
- Required: Approximately 40-50% travel
- Preferred: GI market and/or biomarker testing/diagnostics experience
- Preferred: Launch experience
- Required: Outstanding interpersonal skills, strategic relationship management, and collaboration/feedback abilities
- Required: Team-oriented with strong communication skills, including cross-functional presentation experience
- Required: Good judgment, strategic thinking, planning, and project management skills
Education
- Required: BachelorβΓΓ΄s Degree (life sciences or related discipline a plus)
- Preferred: Graduate degree

- Travel 40-50% including weekends
