Sr. Manager, Platform Delivery Lead, Data & AI

Role: Platform Delivery Lead responsible for the technical development and deployment of enterprise Data and AI platforms to accelerate AI/ML solutions at Gilead. Core responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of platform products on AWS and Databricks, ensuring reliability, security, scalability, and adoption; overseeing platform capabilities for AI services such as model access and retrieval; driving reusable asset creation; leading cross-functional engineering teams; managing project timelines, quality, and continuous improvement; and maintaining platform documentation and performance metrics. Requirements: Bachelor's or higher in data or computer science with 8+ years (BA/BS) or 6+ years (MA/MS); extensive experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture; strong knowledge of AWS data/AI services and Databricks; proven leadership in agile environments; experience managing dispersed teams and vendor relationships; familiarity with data lakehouse, MLOps, and AI service architectures; excellent stakeholder management skills.
