Sr. Manager Platform Architect, ServiceNow

Role Summary

Sr. Manager Platform Architect, ServiceNow. The Platform Architect for ServiceNow leads the design and implementation of the application, mapping client business requirements to technical requirements, and serves as a team lead alongside the Service Delivery Manager and Managed Service Provider to deliver the complete solution for Business and IT Partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of ServiceNow ecosystems including ITSM, ITOM, IRM, HRSD, SecOps, and other enterprise modules.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical architectures using ServiceNow best practices.
• Architect complex integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Orchestration, and MID Servers; hands-on experience with REST API, SOAP, JDBC, SFTP, and similar technologies.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and project managers to ensure cohesive end-to-end design with traceability across solution layers.
• Assess and recommend module selections, balancing out-of-the-box capabilities with required custom development.
• Engage in process flow analysis and design/redesign of processes with the Service Delivery Manager's team.
• Establish platform strategy, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps to drive digital transformation and modernization.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow knowledge and documentation through self-study and best-practice resources.
• Develop a comprehensive functional design document aligned with customer requirements for large-scale projects or module implementations.
• Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow system across production and non-production environments.
• Guide other developers, provide architectural support, participate in design and code reviews, and conduct solution walkthroughs with attention to code quality.

Qualifications

• Expert level command of administration and architecture in ServiceNow.
• Extensive experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, and SecOps.
• Experience scripting in ServiceNow using JavaScript or Jelly (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, etc.).
• Experience managing 3rd parties and 3rd party managed services.
• Ability to work with a global team and apply global best practices for service delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to influence, consult, and provide thought leadership to stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
• Proven team player and team builder.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering with 8+ years of experience as a key technical resource for a large-scale ServiceNow platform implementation, and 4+ years as a ServiceNow Architect or ServiceNow Solution Consultant.
