Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Polaris Integration Product Owner leads the backlog and 18-month roadmap for integrations across Polaris CRM and connected applications, including websites, DocuSign, Hermes/SMS, secure messaging, and data pipelines. You will define API contracts, non-functional requirements, and release plans to ensure secure, scalable, and interoperable solutions between Salesforce and integrated platforms. You will translate business requirements into scalable solutions and work closely with Business Analysts, Admins, and Development teams to deliver on time while driving customer value and patient engagement. Location: Hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the integration backlog and roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements across Polaris CRM and connected systems.
  • Define API contracts and non-functional requirements to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations.
  • Develop and maintain release plans for integration components, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance standards.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Define and enforce configuration standards to maintain consistency and quality across all CRM components.
  • Develop and maintain the end-to-end product vision and 18-month roadmap.
  • Champion the voice of the customer in all configuration decisions, ensuring solutions deliver exceptional usability and business value.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Admins, and Development teams to plan and execute sprints that meet delivery timelines and quality expectations.
  • Lead technology selection and vendor evaluation processes, including contracting and implementation, to ensure optimal solutions and cost efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and compliant delivery.
  • Maintain governance and prioritization frameworks, enabling transparent decision-making and effective resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets and actual spend, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to commercial and digital processes.
  • Review functional and technical designs to confirm usability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Actively participate in program governance, communicating goals, progress, and impact to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management.
  • Required: 6+ years of experience in product solutions management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Required: 5+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements definition, and/or project management.
  • Required: Proven success delivering solutions using Agile development methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Disciplined Agile).
  • Required: Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Required: Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
  • Required: Strong financial and budget acumen.
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Preferred: Experience with commercial processes in pharmaceutical companies.
  • Preferred: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent agile certification.
  • Preferred: High awareness of internal and external technology trends.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage technical leaders and develop talent.
  • Preferred: Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
